BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The ninth feature film to be filmed in Buffalo this year has kicked off filming, adding to a growing film industry in the area.

Mayor Byron Brown announced Thursday the filming of “Two for One” in the Queen City. The production, headed up by director Jon Abrahams, is set to film through Aug. 17, and add to the city’s economic impact of more than $10 million from films.

Abrahams, who starred in “Meet the Parents” and “Scary Movie” will also star in his own movie, alongside fellow stars Annie Potts, Erika Christensen and Stephen Henderson.

Crews will film the motion picture at local destinations, including an Allentown home, Buffalo State, Burchfield Penney Art Center, Marco’s Restaurant, Niagara Falls, Sportsmen’s Tavern and The Lodge.

Locals looking to get their shot in the limelight will even have the opportunity to be an extra in the film. Those interested can send a photo and contact information in to westernnycasting@gmail.com.
