Buffalo Police say the lockdown has been lifted at the school.

Police have two suspects in custody from a shots fired call at Normal Avenue and Rhode Island Street in the city.

The Initial report said Buffalo Police had the Herman Badillo School at Elmwood Avenue and Tupper Street on lockdown earlier today due to an active police search in the surrounding area.

There was no threat inside of the school and the school was put on lockdown for the safety of the students and staff, according to police.
