BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - UPDATE (12/2/2018)
Buffalo Police confirmed the 18-year-old is Aaron Williams of Niagara Falls. The 15-year-old is from Buffalo, according to police.
Police said that during their investigation, they determined that the two suspects from the Saturday vehicle theft committed an armed robbery on Friday, November 30, at 8:25 p.m.
According to the police, the suspects stole $200 and a cell phone from a person exiting their car in the 2000 block of Niagara Street.
The suspects have been charged with Robbery in the first degree.
Buffalo Police have confirmed that the mother of a baby that was inside a stolen vehicle will be charged.
BPD Captain Jeff Rinaldo said 25-year-old Jacqualynne Miles Miller has been charged with endangering the welfare of the child.
Rinaldo said earlier in the afternoon that the vehicle, a 2010 White Chevy Equinox, was left running outside a liquor store on Hertel and Niagara Street in Buffalo with the two-month-old inside the vehicle.
The vehicle was reported as stolen around 1 pm on Saturday, December 1.
Rinaldo told News 4 that two suspects, aged 18 and 15, are in custody for stealing the vehicle. Rinaldo said one of the men in custody took the baby to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
The baby was said to have not sustained any injuries, according to Buffalo Police.
Earlier in the day, Rinaldo said the baby was found in a car-seat off the 190-N in Grand Island. Rinaldo confirmed that story had been fabricated by one of the suspects.
Buffalo Police confirmed in a Facebook post that the vehicle was found in Niagara Falls.
