Chautauqua County’s new Sheriff was sworn in early Tuesday morning.

Jim Quattrone took the oath of office after defeating Sheriff Joe Gerace on Election Day.

Quattrone said his biggest issue is the continuing opiate epidemic.

He pledged to work with law enforcement and public health officials to reduce the problem in Chautauqua County.
