5 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Niagara County

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — Tuesday, July 21

According to the Niagara County Department of Health, there are five new positive COVID-19 cases.

That brings the countywide total now to 1,389 positive cases to date.

The Health Department says 33 cases remain active, with one individual hospitalized.

COVID-19 deaths in Niagara County still sit at 96 and 1,260 people have recovered.

Officials tell News 4 45,268 people have been tested.

Monday, July 20

Since Friday morning, 11 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Niagara County.

Of the 1,384 cases found there to date, only 38 are still active. One person is hospitalized while the other 37 are isolating at home.

A total of 1,250 people have recovered, but 96 others have died.

45,059 people in Niagara County have been tested for the coronavirus.
