9 more cases of COVID-19 found in Niagara County over the weekend

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — Monday, August 3

Since Friday morning, there have been 9 additional positive cases of coronavirus identified in Niagara County.

The Department of Health says that brings the total number of positive cases to 1,447.

As of now, there are 45 active cases with three people hospitalized, and 1,304 people have recovered.

Officials are reporting no new deaths leaving the death toll from COVID at 98.

According to Niagara County, 53,892 people have been tested.

Friday, July 31

Niagara County officials announced nine new positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday.

There are now 1,438 positive cases to date, with 37 active cases, and four people still hospitalized from the virus.

As of Friday, 1,303 individuals have recovered and 98 individuals have died.

The Department of Health says 52,110 people have been tested.

Right now, 72 people are in quarantine and 1,430 have completed quarantine.

Thursday, July 30

The Niagara County Department of Health reports four new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of positive cases in the county to 1,429.

Officials tell News 4 there are 33 active cases, with four people in the hospital, and the death toll remains at 98.

Currently, 1,298 individuals have recovered and 51,250 people have been tested.

Wednesday, July 29

Five more cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Niagara County.

Of the 1,425 cases found to date, only 34 are still active. 1,293 people have recovered, while 98 others have died.

More than 50,000 people in the county have been tested for the coronavirus.
