LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) — An AMBER Alert regarding 10-month-old Royalty Mullen has been canceled, as she was reportedly found safe and was returned to authorities.

Mullen was reported as the victim of a non-custodial abduction just before 8 a.m. on Saturday. According to the Sheriff’s office, her father, Anthones Mullen, Jr. unlawfully entered a Sweetwood Drive apartment and took her from the address, where she and her mother live.

Anthones Mullen reportedly left the scene in a vehicle with Royalty. The vehicle was later found by patrols, unoccupied, in the Woodlands Manufactured Home Community of Lockport. As patrols continued their searches, an AMBER Alert was issued for Royalty Mullen.

Other law enforcement agencies assisted in the search, and Buffalo Police later relayed that the child was received, unharmed — delivered by a relative of Anthones Mullen. Royalty Mullen’s mother was notified and reunited with the child.

The Niagara County Sheriff’s office said it is continuing its search for Anthones Mullen, as the investigation continues. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Investigator Keith Hetrick at (716) 438-3335 or the Sheriff’s office at (716) 438-3393.
