A Niagara Falls man has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, according to U.S. Attorney James Kennedy.
In April 2017 a Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent went undercover and discovered multiple files containing videos and images of prepubescent children in sexual situations were being shared on a peer to peer website.
Investigators discovered the IP address connected to the files were related to the one used by 34-year-old Randy Colucci.
Officials say this led to the execution of a search warrant at his home. In June 2017 child pornography, including children under the age of 10, and images of children involved in violent sexual assaults were found.
Colucci is currently on parole from a 2011 manslaughter conviction involving the death of his two-year-old daughter.
The charge carries a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
His sentencing is scheduled for September 16.
