North Tonawanda Schools close Monday after a surge in staff Covid-19 cases

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Students and staff in the North Tonawanda district have Monday off after school officials say they are experiencing an increase in positive cases among staff members.

The North Tonawanda Superintendent tells News 4 the cases have created a shortage of bus drivers and substitutes for the classroom.

Classes are expected to start again on Tuesday.
