A Buffalo Police vehicle was involved in a crash near the city’s medical campus on Tuesday night.
It happened just before 11 p.m. at Michigan Avenue and High Street.
It appears as though the front of the police cruiser was damaged.
We saw investigators checking out damage from the door of a nearby business.
Police say a cruiser was traveling south on Michigan, with lights & sirens, when another vehicle attempted to make a left turn and turned into the cruiser, Buffalo Police said in a statement.
The collision caused the cruiser to hit a fire hydrant, while the other vehicle struck a building.
The officer and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to ECMC to be treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Buffalo Police.
No charges have been filed.
