Schools shelter in place after shooting on Grider St.

Buffalo Public Schools 197, 61 and 89 were ordered to shelter in place after reports of gunshots being fired Wednesday morning.

Just before 10:50 a.m., a 34-year-old Buffalo man was shot on the 100 block of Grider St.

He was taken to ECMC with serious injuries, and later died.

Shortly after Noon, a representative of Buffalo Public Schools informed News 4 that the shelter in place had since been lifted.
