The Sears store in Wheatfield is shutting its doors.
There is not a specific date when the store will close, but the company says it will be in early August.
Starting May 18, the store will begin its liquidation sale.
“Having fewer stores – and the right format – will help us bring Sears Holdings to a size and place to meet the realities of the changing retail world,” Sears wrote to News 4.
Eligible associates will receive severance and the chance to apply for jobs at other Sears or Kmart stores.
