Starting Monday, April 15 South Main Street in Jamestown between Harrison Street and 1st Street will be closed for two weeks.
According to the Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities, the work will consist of paving, installing a crosswalk for the Riverwalk trail and road striping.
Installation of the capstones on the bridge walls has already begun.
Next week will be adjusting manhole covers and utility risers and milling, the following week will be paving.
Officials say sidewalks will remain open during the road closure.
