Teen charged with sex crimes at alleged party house in Lewiston

LEWISTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - New York State Police are investigating an alleged underage party house in the Town of Lewiston.

So far, three adults have been charged with illegally providing alcohol to minors at the home on Mountain View Drive.

Tricia Vacanti was arrested in early November and Gary Sullo and Jessica Long were arrested last week. All three defendants pleaded not guilty and will return to Lewiston Town Court Dec. 18.

While reporting on this investigation, News 4 has learned it's not just those adults in trouble with the law.

Sources confirm to News 4 that a 17-year-old boy in attendance at one of these alleged parties, is facing a slew of sex charges.

According to sources, multiple alleged sex abuse incidents occurred inside the home, owned by Gary Sullo and Tricia Vacanti, who are married.

For allegedly giving alcohol to minors, both Sullo and Vacanti are facing several counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Unlawfully Dealing with a Child; their neighbor, Jessica Long, is facing one count of each.

Court records show Vacanti is also accused of using marijuana with minors at the home.

We are not identifying the 17-year-old defendant, who was released on $5,000 bond last month.

The boy's records are sealed in the Town of Lewiston Court.

News 4 is also learning that Sullo and Vacanti were hosting an exchange student at the time of the alleged house parties, which spanned from Dec. 2016 to July 2018.

The exchange student attended Lew Port High School.

District superintendent Paul Casseri told News 4 "We were contacted by NY state police investigators in September that an issue had developed at that residence and they wanted to speak with the exchange student."

Casseri said the outside exchange program ultimately decided to remove the student from the home; they were eventually placed in another home within the district.

This developing case all started with a tip to state police from a mandatory reporter from an area school.

State police told News 4 additional arrests are possible.

This is a developing story.
