Thousands without power in Western New York during wind storm

NYSEG and National Grid are reporting that there are thousands of customers without power during Western New York’s wind storm. 

National Grid said the largest outages, as of 2pm on Sunday, are being experienced in Buffalo and Byron in Genesee County. 

NYSEG said there are hundreds without power in the Southtowns. 

If your power is out, you are advised to call National Grid at 800-867-5222 and NYSEG at 800-572-1131
