Training camp is about more than football for young fans

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Bills training camp is hard work for the coaches and players, but it’s all about fun for the fans. If you visit the interactive kids zone at St. John Fisher college during a practice, you probably won’t find anyone talking about the quarterback competition or which receivers look the best.

With giant inflatable toys, the play area feels more like a festival or an amusement park than a professional sporting event. There are five football-themed zones all together: an obstacle course, a slide, throwing cubes, a red-zone challenge, and a field goal kick. The free attraction is located behind the grass field on the campus, and it’s open to families an hour before and an hour after each public practice.
