Two people were arrested during a traffic stop in the Town of Wales early Tuesday morning.
According to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was stopped at Reiter and Big Tree roads around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday for vehicle and traffic infractions.
The driver, Brooke Thurber, 27, of Depew, was found to have eight active suspensions on her license. She was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and two vehicle and traffic law violations.
According to sheriff’s reports, the passenger, 38-year-old Shaw Gray of Buffalo, was found to be in possession of four grams of crack cocaine. He was charged with criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and criminal possession of a narcotic, as well as criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Both are being held pending their arraignments.
According to sheriff’s reports, Gray was released from prison Aug. 14 and is currently on parole.
