BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The latest organization to warn of a phishing scam explained students at the University at Buffalo are the targets.
University at Buffalo officials say they warned their students of a false email looking for personal information. The email threatens students of a suspended email account, asking for personal information to restore it.
Students are advised to delete the email and block the sender.
College students across New York State are heading back to their dorm rooms as semesters are set to kick off soon.
