UB student in critical condition after hit & run on North Campus

University at Buffalo Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian, according to a news release. 

The hit & run happened just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, on Hadley Road in front of the Hadley Village Apartments on UB’s North Campus.

The female victim is a 20-year-old undergraduate student from Singapore, according to the news release by UB Police. 

She was taken to ECMC and is in critical condition.

The university said they are in close contact with her family and friends. This includes making arrangements for the family’s stay in Buffalo.

The news release said that the “entire UB community remains hopeful that she will make a full recovery from her injuries.”

The suspect’s vehicle is a 2003 to 2008 model dark colored four-door Honda Accord, UB Police said.

The news release said the vehicle could have damage to the front right hood, bumper, fender and head lamp.
