A vehicle collided with a Buffalo Fire Department firetruck on the way to a fire at a vacant house on Breckenridge Street Wednesday morning.
The collision occurred around 6 a.m. at the corner of East Ferry Street and Michigan Avenue.
According to Buffalo Police, the driver of the other vehicle failed to yield to the truck’s sirens and lights and drove straight into the truck. The driver did not have a driver’s license and denied medical treatment after being extricated from the vehicle.
The firetruck involved in the crash was one of the first dispatched to the fire.
No firefighters were injured.
