A soup stroll in Williamsville benefited the Food Bank of Western New York on Saturday.
The second annual event featured soup from 16 local restaurants. Each serving cost one dollar. All of the money raised will help local food shelters.
“Last year was very successful. This year we souped it up and we’ll have an even better event next year,” said Maria MacPeek, General Manager of The Irishman Pub.
The event raised $3,000 last year. Organizers expect to make even more in 2019.
