BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Proving once again that Buffalo is the City of Good Neighbors, WNY residents raised over $13,500 for victims of Hurricane Florence during News 4's telethon on Friday.
News 4 partnered with the Red Cross and Keybank for the telethon.
Organizers with the Red Cross say the money goes not only to feeding and housing people affected by the storm, but to make the experience a little less devastating.
If you didn't get a chance to donate in Friday's telethon, you can donate anytime by contacting 1-800-REDCROSS.
