A 19-year-old Buffalo woman has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of another woman during a fight Friday night on Schreck Avenue.
Areyona Favors, 19, of Buffalo, was arraigned Sunday on a charge of second degree murder.
According to the Erie County DA’s Office, Favors stabbed 21-year-old NaKara Morgan of Buffalo multiple times during a house party around 11 p.m. Friday night.
Morgan later died from her injuries at ECMC.
She remains held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 23.
If convicted, she faces 25 years to life in prison.
