A woman suspected of involvement in 12 gas station robberies in Erie and Niagara counties was released Friday.

State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. canceled the $100,000 bail that kept 45-year-old Heather M. Jenkins in custody for a month following a discussion with Niagara County First Assistant DA Mary Jean Bowman and defense attorney Joel Daniels.

Jenkins husband, 46-year-old Justin R. Jenkins has been charged with one robbery.

Bowman says Heather Jenkins has been charged as the driver in a February 26 robbery in Niagara Falls and one on March 13 in North Tonawanda.
