Early Tuesday morning, authorities conducted a search at an address on High St. in Lockport.
Lockport police, Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies and New York State police went to the residence around 5:30 a.m. following a month-long investigation into reported narcotics activity.
As a result of it, Ronald Simons, 59, was charged with second and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance as well as third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Simons is being held without bail pending a Wednesday court appearance. Additional charges are pending.
