OGDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) — An investigation which spanned six months came to a head Monday when Orleans County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Rochester man.
Police say the man dealt drugs in a large area. When police stopped his vehicle on Monday, they utilized a search warrant to search both it, then the home of Roy L. Carter, a 39-year-old Rochester man. In his possession, police say, were about 50 grams of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, a loaded semi-automatic pistol, more than $1,000 in cash, packaging and other drug paraphernalia.
The discovery led to eight felony counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, Police committed the man to Orleans County Jail without bail. He’ll reappear in court at a later date.
Additional charges are pending in the case.
