Mayor Brown says progress is being made getting lead out of the city

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)–Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown says progress is being made in getting lead out of the city.

He joined other local leaders at the Merriweather Library to talk about the issue today.

The mayor says the city is removing lead from water lines, educating residents about the dangers of lead, and increasing inspections.

Brown says getting rid of lead has been a city-wide effort.
