As the Buffalo Bills prepare to take on the New England Patriots, one of the Bills’ star players is limited.

Coach Sean McDermott said running back LeSean McCoy is in concussion protocol during a Thursday morning conference.

When speaking of Monday’s opponent, McDermott said the Patriots’ offense has more playmakers than they did in previous years.

“We’ve got to play good football, complimentary football in all three phases,” McDermott said.

Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds was a topic of discussion during the conference. The coach said he is making progress.

“When you play a position like MLB… there’s a lot that goes into it than just playing your position. He embraces that growth mindset.”

The Bills are seen by many as the underdog in their matchup with the Patriots. McDermott responded to that by saying “Is that new? Last year or this year, it’s nothing new.”

The Bills vs. Patriots game will start at 8:15 p.m. on Monday.
