McKinley High School goes into lockdown after report of gun on premises

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A lockdown was in effect at McKinley High School for part of Monday.

Buffalo police say it began just before 11:30 a.m. and lasted for about two hours.

The lockdown began after the school received a report of a gun on the premises.

A police K-9 swept the school, and after that, the lockdown was lifted.
