NORTH JAVA, N.Y. (WIVB) – A milk tanker rolled over in Wyoming County Wednesday, falling down a 30-foot embankment.

The accident occurred at Route 98 and Beaver Meadow Road in North Java.

The driver, Ja-Ryan Steen, sustained non-life threatening injuries, but was transported by Mercy Flight to ECMC. The Wyoming County Sheriff’s office says he failed to stop at a stop sign.

In order to get him out of the vehicle, a heavy wrecker tow truck was used to move the cab out of the truck.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
