More than $1 million going to state’s “Farm-To School” and “No Student Goes Hungry” initiative

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)–More than $1 million will go to the state’s Farm-To-School and No Student Goes Hungry initiative.

Leaders made the announcement at Waterfront Elementary School today.

The programs help school districts buy more locally grown and produced food for school lunches.

It also helps boots business for farmers in our area.

The farm to school program started in 2014.
