The National Weather Service has confirmed a brief EF-0 tornado in West Seneca Saturday afternoon.
At 75 yards wide, the tornado traveled about 0.16 miles causing local tree and building damage. Estimated winds were about 65-75 mph.
News 4 was on scene at a townhome complex on Greenmeadow Drive, where the tornado partially ripped off the building’s roof.
At least one resident had water leaking into her home as emergency crews tried to fix the roof Saturday night.
