Iguanas could fall from trees as temps drop into the 40s in Miami, NWS says

MIAMI, Fla. (WIVB)– The National Weather Service in Miami says, don’t be surprised if you see Iguanas falling from trees Tuesday night.

According to the NWS, Iguanas are cold-blooded and slow down or become immobile when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Temperatures will drop as low as the 30s and 40s tonight in the area.

They may fall from trees, but they are not dead.
