WASHINGTON, D.C. (WIVB) — A graduate of Williamsville and SUNY Geneseo will take her skills learned in WNY to the nation’s highest office.
Liz Allen has been named to the White House Deputy Communications Director and Deputy Assistant to the President posts. She’s no stranger to the Obama administration, having served in several roles for the president since his election in 2008.
While at Geneseo, Allen majored in political science and international relations, and she took advantage of internships, like the State Department internship called the “Semester-at-Sea” program.
Allen, a native of Williamsville, also has served in the press office for Vice President Joe Biden.
