New CDC report says 80% of adults favor reducing nicotine levels

(WIVB)–Most Americans want less nicotine in cigarettes. A new report from the CDC says 80% of adults favored reducing nicotine levels.

A previous study found it’s a change that could potentially save eight million lives over the next century.

The CDC says lowering nicotine levels could help smokers quit and make it less likely for future generations to become addicted.
