Poll: 78 percent of parents don't want their teen to get a tattoo

(WIVB) - A new national poll finds 78 percent of parents do not want their teenagers to get a tattoo.

The poll, from the University of Michigan, says one quarter of high school parents say their teen has asked for one.

At the top of the list of parental concerns are scarring or diseases through unsanitary needles and how a tattoo might impact their child's professional career.
