New York State: School districts allowed to eliminate snow days

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB)—New York State is giving school districts the choice to get rid of snow days.

The department of education says districts could switch to remote learning when they would normally cancel classes.

Education leaders will evaluate the policy after the school year and then decide whether to keep it moving forward.
