3.1-magnitude earthquake reported in eastern NY

SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 3.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in eastern New York Wednesday morning.

Its epicenter was just over 16 miles north-northeast of Saratoga Springs, or about forty miles north of Albany.

It’s not clear if this earthquake, which was 13 kilometers deep, caused any damage.
