Earthquake occurs in the Adirondacks

NORTH CREEK, N.Y. (WIVB) — An earthquake has occurred in eastern New York, in the Adirondack region.

The 1.4-magnitude earthquake happened on Friday night, about 30 miles northwest of Queensbury, and was five kilometers deep.
