Gov. Cuomo looking to get rid of “pink tax”

(WIVB) — Governor Andrew Cuomo is unveiling a plan to eliminate the “pink tax.”

That’s the practice where some items, including clothing, razor blades and even toys cost more if they’re marketed towards women.

The Governor wants to push legislation to get rid of the tax.

Cuomo says eliminating the “pink tax” is part of his 2020 women’s agenda.
