Governor Cuomo ends term as president of National Governors Association

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) — Governor Andrew Cuomo has ended his term as the head of the National Governor’s Association. Cuomo took the reins at the height of the pandemic.

He calls this a transformational moment for the world and for governors. Cuomo says the pandemic highlighted how important state leadership is.

The governor is handing off the leadership post to Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson.
