Lawmakers pass facial recognition ban

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) — The New York State Legislature is taking action against facial recognition technology being used in schools.

It passed a bill which blocks the technology from being used for two years.

Assembly member Monica Wallace sponsored the bill in the Assembly.
