Louise Slaughter to be inducted into National Women’s Hall of Fame


ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — Late Congresswoman Louise Slaughter will be inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame this weekend.

Slaughter represented parts of western New York for three decades, becoming one of the strongest voices in the House of Representatives.

She died in March 2018, at age 88.

The induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, at Del Lago Resort in Waterloo.
