Students who attended Niagara Catholic Junior-Senior High School have a better idea what their fall semester might look like.
Some will transfer to Niagara Falls High School. Administrators held an open house for the students to visit last night.
Two weeks ago, families learned Niagara Catholic would be closing because of financial and enrollment challenges.
Prospective students got to see what their new school has to offer.
“We know there’s going to be some transition time as we take a high school that had a few different systems and we meld those students into our system, but it’s nothing that we can’t handle, nothing that we’re not looking forward to, and we’re pleased that we had such a good turnout and we hope that they register with us this evening,” Niagara Falls School Superintendent Mark Laurrie said.
121 students attended Niagara Catholic last year.
