The Erie County Sheriff’s Office received multiple calls reporting a single vehicle crash on Route 400 South near Maple Street at 3:20 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies say a custom 1920 early model open top vehicle lost control and struck the safety rail causing the man operating it to be ejected from the vehicle.
The man, who was identified as 52-year-old Franklinville resident Jeffrey Mogg, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
He was the only occupant of the vehicle at the time.
