House of Representatives passes bill to decriminalize marijuana, heads to the Senate

(WIVB)– The House of Representatives has voted to decriminalize marijuana.

They passed legislation today that would remove pot from the federal list of controlled substances, and decriminalize marijuana across the country.

It would also clear some pot-related criminal records.

The bill now heads to the senate.
