NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – We use them every day, many of us all day – smart phones, tablets, laptops and televisions.
This generation of kids uses them even more, whether it’s video games or social media.

Today’s children are spending an average of nearly seven hours a day looking at some kind of screen.
That digital addiction is the focus of a new documentary, ‘Screenagers.’
The film follows parents who are watching their kids “scroll through life, with their rapid-fire thumbs and a six-second attention span.”
Physician, filmmaker and mother Delaney Ruston directed ‘Screenagers.’
Ruston uses her own family struggle over digital addiction to discuss the dangers of too much tech time.
A screening of ‘Screenagers’ was held at Brentwood Academy Wednesday night.
After the film, there was also a Q&A with producers.
