Second knee injury more likely for young athletes if they don’t score high on return test after ACL injury


(WIVB)– Young athletes with ACL injuries face a higher risk of a second knee injury if they don’t score at least 90% on “return to sport assessment” tests.

Athletes who did not perform well on the quadricep strength test, in particular, were at an increased risk, according to researchers.
