Six local people complete in 30 hour coffin challenge


The 30 Hour Coffin Challenge took place at Darien Lake this weekend. 

Six local people stayed in a coffin for over 24 hours. 

The challenge had a six-minute bathroom break and 13 minutes of phone time every hour and four meal breaks. 

They also competed in five physical challenges throughout the 30 hours to earn extra break time.

The participants included Nicholas Stilb of Buffalo, Brian Mueller of Canandaigua, Tracey White of Dansville, Deanna Dapice of Hornell, Bridgette Arnold of Stillwater and Cailee Sarick of West Seneca.

The winners won three hundred dollars and season passes to the park.

The competition began at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and ended at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
