Students saying YouTube has bigger impact than textbooks

Who’s teaching your child?

If you ask Generation Z students, they’ll say YouTube.

A new study by Pearson Education found students between 14 and 23 say YouTube is a bigger contributor to their education than textbooks. 59 percent of the students said they preferred learning from YouTube.

YouTube is changing the way educators think. Some districts are making their own channels.

The site does offer tutorials but it could also recommend false information to students as well.
